Fresh and delicious

Cooking might as well be one of my greatest passions, if only I had the time.

I spend most of my days travelling along my fields, monitoring my bees, olive trees and medicinal plants.

Since I like simplicity and I don’t have much time for cooking, in this section you will find some very easy recipes. Main ingredients are mostly raw and matched based on my mood at the time.

I’m madly in love with avocado, a fruit which unfortunately doesn’t grow here in Italy, albeit it is starting to pop up in some Sicilian fields. Besides sporting a lot of benefic properties, you can eat it all year round – provided it comes from organic farming. It combines really well with the grapefruit. Just peel off the thin layer covering every part of the grapefruit, slice the avocado, add a pinch of salt and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil as a final touch.
