The organic chestnut flower honey is well known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It is a source of proteins, vitamin B and C and mineral nutrients. It aroma is strong and its taste is peculiarly slightly bitter. It is lighter or darker amber colored, its texture is basically liquid and its crystallization is very slow. It has a surprisingly powerful aroma and an extremely fine bitter aftertaste. Its warm and forest-like scents and aromas remind of grilled caramel. It is a full-bodied, strong and persistent honey.
